Join & Contact

Join us in developing AI and mathematical methods for scientific discovery and design.

Opportunities

We welcome backgrounds in computer science, engineering, applied mathematics, physics, and related fields. Openings depend on research fit and available funding.

Prospective Ph.D. students

Email the PI with your CV, research interests, and relevant experience to discuss research fit and advising. Mention the DUAL research group in your application statement. EECS requires Ph.D. applicants to establish an advisor before admission.

Current UTK students

Undergraduate and graduate students can inquire about research projects. Include your major, year, relevant coursework, and the research direction that interests you most.

Collaborators

We welcome collaborations on AI methods, the study of AI models, and scientific problems that call for new approaches to multiscale modeling or inverse design. Write to us about the question you would like to explore.
